This will be a short post. Tonight I am in the USA, preparing to celebrate Thanksgiving with my kids and grand-kids. It has been an amazing trip since I left Israel on Nov. 15.
I’ve seen family members I had not seen in over 40 years, visited cousins in NJ and FL, saw dear friends in Maryland, and now I’m in cold Michigan. It has snowed, I’ve driven on icy roads, am fighting the chill, wearing warm clothes, and am totally enjoying my time away–despite the brrry weather!
Here in the USA it is Thanksgiving; it is also Hanukkah. A once in a life-time event. An opportunity to remember miracles and numerous reasons to be thankful. Whether we are lighting candles or eating turkey, my your heart too be overflowing with thankfulness to the God of creation; the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our Salvation in Yeshua… truly we are blessed with so much.
I will try to post some pics and fill you in with more news later. For now. I am giving thanks as I prepare for this unique Thanksgiving.
Give thanks to the Lord, for His love endures forever!
